A glimpse into my first weekend of 2013....
Before school starts up again, I got some fun reading in... including this gift from my brother.
Now that the weather is a little brisk, I am pulling out my winter wear. One of the best things about running in college was the free loot. We were sponsored by Nike, my favorite running brand, and being a cold-state team I scored some great winter running gear. This long sleeve tech top is a magical combination of light-weight yet sturdy material. It keeps you warm without feeling like your going to suffocate once you get a sweat going.
A yummy brunch with the girls at Paolo's where one too many mimosas were consumed. One of the great things about living in Georgetown is all the great restaurants and shops right outside our door. However, being closed to so many shops after a boozy brunch can result in some overindulgent shopping.....
Tubby got a little excited about a new toy.....
And then promptly destroyed it.......
Saturday night was spent with friends at Public, and Sunday was spent at Biergarten Haus cheering on the Redskins. Mackenzie, second from the left, will be running here first half marathon this spring which I will help her put a training plan together for. We are both doing the Nike Women's half in April...and it is going to be here before we know it.
