As I mentioned in my note yesterday, a sophomore at the High School I attended was paralyzed after being checked into the boards at a hockey game. After he underwent surgery Thursday, the prognosis was that he would never walk or move his arms again. He has been receiving immense support from around the world, and prayers from people who do not even know him. Earlier today, news broke that Jack was able to move one arm completely, and had significant movement in the other arm. The doctor told Jack that he made his day. Here is to remembering the power of prayer and positive thinking. You can hear more about his story here. Please keep Jack and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
